Bicycle Crunch

The bicycle crunch is a dynamic core exercise targeting the rectus abdominis and obliques, building rotational stability for HYROX running, sled work, and loaded carries.
Movement
A bicycle crunch combines repeated trunk flexion and rotation with alternating hip and knee movement. The rectus abdominis and oblique muscles contribute to trunk motion, while hip muscles move the legs. It is one exercise option, not a uniquely efficient test or treatment.

Execution and limits
Move through a range you can control without pulling on the head. Speed, repetitions and leg position can be adjusted. Stop or modify if symptoms occur. The exercise cannot selectively reduce abdominal fat and does not by itself guarantee spinal health, injury prevention or HYROX® performance.
