HYROX pace planning

Build your race-time budget

Your finish time depends on running, station work and transitions. Enter estimates for all three to see the running pace left in your plan.

Use your own estimates

Planned average running pace

6:15 min/km

(Finish time − stations − transitions) ÷ 8 km

This divides the remaining time across the eight prescribed 1 km runs. It excludes Roxzone time from running pace. Timing-mat boundaries and venue layouts differ, so check what your source splits include and avoid counting transitions twice. Allow for any other time included in your finish result, such as penalties.

This is an arithmetic budget, not a prediction or a promise. It cannot tell whether a pace is sustainable for you. Use your own training and race observations, and adjust the station and transition estimates for your event.

Singles and Doubles

In standard Singles and Doubles, every athlete completes all eight 1 km runs. Doubles partners run together and share station work; the station budget is the team’s total, not half of a Singles estimate. Division loads and your actual work split matter.
