Raising light dumbbells out to the sides from a bent-over position strengthens the rear delts and helps balance pressing-heavy programs.

The dumbbell bent over reverse fly targets the rear deltoids and upper back, strengthening the postural muscles HYROX athletes need to stay upright across 8 km of running and 8 workout stations.

Movement

The dumbbell bent-over reverse fly moves the arms outward under load while the trunk is inclined. Elbow angle, torso position, range and load alter shoulder and trunk demands; it does not isolate one muscle.
