V-Up

The V-up is a dynamic bodyweight core exercise that simultaneously lifts straight legs and torso to form a V-shape, building full-range abdominal and hip flexor strength for HYROX running posture and station performance.
Movement and technique
A V-up is a supine trunk-flexion exercise in which the legs and upper body move toward each other. Abdominal and hip muscles contribute; exact demand changes with knee position, range and tempo. Use a controlled range that allows breathing and does not provoke unwanted back or neck symptoms; touching toes is an optional endpoint, not a universal standard.

Scaling and limits
Bent knees, shorter levers or moving only the arms or legs can reduce difficulty. Longer levers or external resistance can increase it when appropriate. Progress gradually according to control and recovery. V-ups are one trunk exercise; they do not guarantee visible abdominals, posture correction, back-pain treatment, injury prevention, running economy or HYROX® performance.
