01 / The venue
HYROX Amsterdam: The venue
RAI has been at Europaplein since 1961. Its original centrepiece, the Europahal, was built as a large column-free exhibition hall, with more halls added later. Today it is a whole exhibition complex: use the HYROX hall plan rather than one building photograph.
RAI has two useful rail access points: Amsterdam RAI and Europaplein metro station. Europaplein is directly outside the complex; check which station suits your final walk.
The city
Amsterdam
After HYROX Amsterdam, choose between department stores around Dam Square, smaller shops in the Negen Straatjes or art at Museumplein. The latter is home to the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum and Stedelijk. Pick one area for your free afternoon.
