Average HYROX® Time Women

A women’s HYROX average is the arithmetic mean of a defined set of classified women’s results, not one timeless figure across Open, Pro and age groups.

Current categories
The current HYROX® Singles rulebook defines women’s divisions, age groups, loads and ranking. The official format page describes eight 1 km runs and eight workout stations. Open and Pro women must be reported separately.
Limits of the old data
The captured record, average, median, percentile, age-group and station tables had no result export, included events, status filters, sample size or calculation date. Claims of doubled participation, improving seasonal means, a universal sub-85 percentile and specific sex-gap causes were also not reproducible.
Calculation
Select official results from named events, one women’s division and a declared season. Define DNS, DNF, disqualifications and penalties; state count and retrieval date; calculate mean, median and percentiles with an explicit method. Do not infer causes from descriptive differences alone.
Training context
A result summary cannot prescribe a first-race target or individual training. Running, strength, station work and recovery should reflect the athlete’s history and tolerance; a slower split does not by itself reveal its cause.
- Target split times - Use Repz to identify your weakest station and train it deliberately.
Product context
Women's HYROX® participation has nearly doubled since 2022, and average times continue to improve each season. The competitive field is deepening, particularly in the 25-39 age brackets. A sub-85 Open finish places a woman in the top 25% of most events. Track your performance and compare with Repz.
Questions
What is the average HYROX® time for women?
There is no source-independent figure. State season, events, women’s division, filters, sample size and date.
Should Open and Pro women be averaged together?
No for a division benchmark. Their category standards differ and should be reported separately.
Do station differences prove a sex-specific cause?
No. Descriptive time differences alone do not identify physiology, training history, body size or another cause.
