The hand release push up adds a dead-stop at the floor for honest full-range pressing strength, building the pushing endurance HYROX sled work demands.

Definition

This is a resistance-training movement. Joint positions, range, tempo and load change the task, and several muscles contribute; the movement does not isolate one muscle.
