01 / The venue
A green outdoor space sits between Messe Karlsruhe’s four exhibition halls. The operator also manages separate city-centre venues such as Gartenhalle, which is not part of the four-hall HYROX site in Rheinstetten.
The fairgrounds are in Rheinstetten, distinct from the congress centre at Karlsruhe’s Festplatz. S2 serves Messe/Leichtsandstraße.
The city
The pyramid on Karlsruhe’s Marktplatz protects the tomb of the city’s founder, Karl Wilhelm. The Town Hall and city church belong to Friedrich Weinbrenner’s neoclassical ensemble. Look at how these buildings relate to one another for an introduction to Karlsruhe’s planned cityscape.
