Where official results are published

The current Singles rulebook says results are published after an event at results.HYROX®.com. Current event pages state that full results, including workout split times, are published on the official results page. Use the official destination or the results link supplied for your event. Interface fields and availability can change, so do not rely on an unofficial walkthrough as a permanent description.

What an official result establishes

The official result establishes the recorded finish time and applicable ranking. The rulebook sorts results by time within each event and division and also provides age-group rankings. It defines current Singles age groups from U24 (16–24) through 85–89 and determines age by race-day age. It also states that penalties or amendments may be added for up to 48 hours after event end, so an early display may not yet be final.

What splits do not diagnose

Run and workout splits show where the timing system recorded elapsed time. They do not alone identify aerobic capacity, pacing intent, strength, technique, congestion, penalties, transitions, illness or equipment interaction as the cause. No official source reviewed supports universal cutoffs such as 30 or 45 seconds, 20–25% above a median, an 8–12 minute run/station gap, or a claim that inconsistent pacing costs every athlete 3–6 minutes.

Using results responsibly

Compare the same division, event format and current rules. Use splits to form questions, then examine training records, video, perceived effort, penalties and context before changing a plan. A past event field can describe that field; it does not set a universal target, predict another venue or automatically decide Open versus Pro. Save the official link or a local copy if useful and use the event’s support route for a suspected error.

Repz recent seasons of race data shows that 63% of athletes lose the most cumulative time at just one or two specific stations.[3] For most athletes in the sub-90 minute category, those high-loss stations are Sled Push and Wall Balls. For athletes in the sub-60 category, Burpee Broad Jumps and Wall Balls are the most common limiters. For women, Sled Push and Sled Pull represent a disproportionate share of total station time, particularly at heavier load categories.

Sources

  1. Repz analysis of split data across more than recent seasons of race data identifies a consistent pattern: the majority of total station time loss for a given athlete is concentrated in one or two stations rather than distributed across all eight. This concentration is more pronounced for athletes outside the elite tier, as top 5% finishers tend to have a more uniform station profile, while athletes in the 25th–75th percentile range show higher variance between their best and worst stations. ↩
