Broad Jump

The broad jump is a horizontal explosive exercise that directly transfers to the HYROX Burpee Broad Jumps station, building the forward propulsion power to cover 80 metres efficiently.
Movement
A standing broad jump is a horizontal jump from a stationary start, usually taking off and landing on two feet. Arm swing, countermovement, take-off angle, surface and landing strategy affect distance and loading. It is distinct from the burpee broad jump used in HYROX®.

Measurement and training
Record a stated start and landing rule and use repeated trials under similar conditions if tracking distance. One result is task-specific and does not diagnose total-body power or predict race time. Progress jump volume and distance for landing control; there is no universal good distance or guaranteed injury prevention.
