Bicep curl performed with a cable pulley, keeping constant tension on the biceps throughout the movement unlike free-weight curls.

The cable bicep curl provides constant tension for superior bicep and grip endurance development, supporting HYROX Sled Pull and Farmers Carry stations.

Movement

A cable biceps curl loads elbow flexion through a cable. Cable height, grip, shoulder and elbow motion, range and load change resistance and joint demands; several elbow flexors contribute.

Programming

Choose setup, range and load for controlled pain-free repetitions. Cable resistance is not automatically superior to free weights, and one elbow position does not fit everyone. The exercise does not guarantee arm growth, joint safety or HYROX® transfer.
