HYROX Pro: entry, weights and race format

What changes in Pro?
The race still contains eight runs of approximately 1 km, each followed by a station, with 8,000 m of designated running in total. The farmers carry is 200 m in both Pro divisions, and all four standard Singles divisions perform 100 wall balls in 2026/27. Pro does not add running distance.
Women Pro use a 152 kg sled push, 103 kg sled pull, two 24 kg kettlebells, a 20 kg sandbag and a 6 kg wall ball. Men Pro use 202 kg, 153 kg, two 32 kg kettlebells, a 30 kg sandbag and a 9 kg wall ball respectively. Sled figures include the sled. Wall-ball targets are 2.70 m for women and 3.00 m for men.
Entering a race
Section 2 of the Singles rulebook says qualification is not required for regular participation. Select the appropriate division when registering; availability and the event's entry conditions still apply. There is no universal Open finishing time that automatically makes someone ready for Pro.
Before choosing Pro, check whether you can perform its loaded movements to the required standard. Compare your control and ability to repeat the work, rather than using a single running split as a pass/fail test. Practise unfamiliar loads progressively; an all-out race simulation is not a prerequisite for making this assessment.
Pro, Worlds and Elite are different decisions
Entering Pro is not the same as earning a World Championship slot or an Elite invitation. Age-group Worlds allocation is described in section 5; the Elite qualification system is described in section 6. For athletes aged 60+, the Worlds qualification route is Open, even though regular Pro participation remains available.

Questions
Must I qualify in Open before entering Pro?
No. Regular Pro entry does not require an Open qualifying time; championship and Elite selection are separate processes.
Is the Pro farmers carry 100 m?
No. Both standard Pro Singles divisions carry for 200 m.
Do Women Open perform fewer wall balls than Women Pro?
Not under the 2026/27 Singles rules: both complete 100 repetitions, using different ball weights.
