HYROX sled pull weight includes the sled and its plates. At station three, standard Singles and Doubles athletes pull 78, 103 or 153 kg according to category.

Singles loads for 2026/27

Division Pull total including sled Push total for comparison
Women Open 78 kg 102 kg
Women Pro 103 kg 152 kg
Men Open 103 kg 152 kg
Men Pro 153 kg 202 kg

Pull and push use different loads. The Open-to-Pro increase in pull mass is 25 kg for women and 50 kg for men. Each pull station still totals 50 m.

Doubles categories

Women's Doubles pulls 78 kg. Women's Pro Doubles, Men's Doubles and Mixed Doubles pull 103 kg. Men's Pro Doubles pulls 153 kg. In Mixed, both partners use the same 103 kg total; there is no separate lighter sled for the woman.

Partners may share the station work under its changeover rules. Both complete the runs together. Check separate regulations for Relay, Adaptive or Elite participation rather than extending this table to every format.

The lane is 12.5 m, not 50 m

Sled pull comes after run three, following sled push and another running segment. Complete four 12.5 m lengths. Pull the whole sled beyond the end line, then move to the opposite end for the next length.

The 2026/27 Singles rules require a standing position, not seated or kneeling pulling. Work within the designated Racers Box and do not step on its front or back solid line while holding the rope. Keep the rope in your lane without obstructing a neighbouring lane; it may extend behind your lane.

The rule is about the marked working area, not a blanket ban on all backward movement. Practise within those boundaries and consult section 8.3 and its diagrams before racing.

Preparing the correct load

Calculate the plate mass from your own sled's measured or manufacturer-specified empty mass. Do not copy a plate stack without checking the sled. Log the full setup and distance so comparisons between sessions are meaningful.

A short controlled pull with room to manage the rope is an adjustable practice option. Progress according to your control and existing training. No fixed number of seconds lost through grip fatigue can be inferred from the official weight table.
