HYROX sled push weight: Singles and Doubles loads

Singles weight table
| Division | Total including sled | Distance |
|---|---|---|
| Women Open | 102 kg | 50 m |
| Women Pro | 152 kg | 50 m |
| Men Open | 152 kg | 50 m |
| Men Pro | 202 kg | 50 m |
These are 2026/27 standard Singles loads. Moving from Open to Pro adds 50 kg for either sex. Women Pro and Men Open use the same total. Do not add the sled's mass again: it is already included.
Doubles and Mixed
Women's Doubles uses 102 kg; Women's Pro Doubles and Men's Doubles use 152 kg; Men's Pro Doubles uses 202 kg. Mixed Doubles also uses 152 kg for either working partner. Partners share the station's 50 m total under the Doubles changeover rules; the load is not halved.
This table is not a substitute for Relay, Adaptive or Elite event regulations. Select your actual race category before using a number in a training plan.
Four lengths, after run two
The sled push follows the second running segment. Use the assigned lane and start with both athlete and sled behind the white line. Complete four lengths of 12.5 m, moving the entire sled beyond the end line before changing direction. Stay within the assigned lane without interfering with another racer.
Knowing the total mass does not replace these movement requirements. Read section 8.2 and the event briefing for the complete protocol.
Setting up a training sled
If you know your empty sled's actual mass, subtract it from the desired total to calculate plate mass. For example, a 32 kg training sled would need 120 kg of plates for a 152 kg total. This is arithmetic, not a claim that every race sled weighs 32 kg.
Record the sled, surface, total load and distance when comparing sessions. Matching kilograms alone does not establish an identical training setup. Start with a load you can control; a blanket instruction to add 10–20 kg above race weight is not appropriate for everyone.
Compare sled pull weights and competition sleds.
Questions
Does 152 kg include the sled?
Yes. The official total includes the sled and added plates.
What do Mixed Doubles partners push?
Both use the same 152 kg sled. They share the prescribed distance rather than changing the load by partner.
Is the push one straight 50 m length?
No. The standard station is four 12.5 m lengths, totalling 50 m.
