The standard HYROX order is SkiErg, sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges and wall balls. Each station follows a running segment. The finish comes after wall balls; there is no ninth 1 km run.

The full Singles sequence

Run Station Distance / repetitions
1 → 1. SkiErg 1,000 m
2 → 2. Sled push 50 m
3 → 3. Sled pull 50 m
4 → 4. Burpee broad jumps 80 m
5 → 5. Rowing 1,000 m
6 → 6. Farmers carry 200 m
7 → 7. Sandbag lunges 100 m
8 → 8. Wall balls 100 reps

The designated running distance is 8,000 m across eight approximately 1,000 m segments. Each segment may contain multiple laps according to the venue map. The chart gives standard Singles station totals for 2026/27; division loads are listed in the weights chart.

The transitions that are easy to confuse

SkiErg comes first and rowing fifth. A run separates sled push from sled pull. Sandbag lunges are station seven, followed by run eight and then wall balls. A lunges-to-wall-balls drill without that run is a training variation rather than the exact race sequence.

Study the event map for lap counts, station approaches and IN/OUT arches. Knowing the station list does not tell you the physical route through a particular venue. Follow the equipment and lane assignments from race staff.

What an order mistake means

Section 12 distinguishes an incorrect order from missing required work. The Singles rules allow missing stations to be completed before entering wall balls, with a three-minute penalty for one station completed out of order. More than one out-of-order station leads to disqualification. Missing an entire station or 1 km run also leads to disqualification. Ask a judge for direction if you realise a mistake; do not improvise a shortcut.

Rehearse the sequence without making every session a race

An optional practice task is to name the next run and station before leaving each exercise. You can use shorter distances to learn transitions, clearly recording that it is a partial rehearsal. Normal training may use another order; a full race rehearsal should represent the actual sequence and distances.

In Doubles, both partners run every segment together and may divide the work at the stations. The rules do not require each partner to complete four whole stations. See Doubles rules.

Questions

Is the farmers carry 100 m or 200 m?

It is 200 m in standard Singles 2026/27, in Open and Pro.

Do I run again after wall balls?

Proceed to the finish after completing the station. There is no additional 1 km running segment.

Can I train the stations in another order?

Yes. A training variation is different from a full race rehearsal; label the session accordingly.
