HYROX wall ball weight by Singles and Doubles division

Singles: load, repetitions and target
- Women Open: 4 kg, 100 repetitions, 2.70 m target.
- Women Pro: 6 kg, 100 repetitions, 2.70 m target.
- Men Open: 6 kg, 100 repetitions, 3.00 m target.
- Men Pro: 9 kg, 100 repetitions, 3.00 m target.
Open to Pro increases the load within each sex category. It does not increase the repetition count or target height. Women Open do not have a 75-repetition standard in the cited 2026/27 rules.
Doubles: a shared station total
Doubles Women use 4 kg; Doubles Women Pro, Men and Mixed use 6 kg; Doubles Men Pro use 9 kg. Every listed team shares 100 valid repetitions, rather than completing 100 each.
Female racers use the 2.70 m target and male racers 3.00 m. In Mixed, the female partner therefore also uses 6 kg but retains the women's target. Do not copy a Women's Open Singles load into a Mixed team plan. Relay and Adaptive have separate rulebooks and are outside this comparison.
Check the ball and complete legal reps
Confirm the weight marking and the assigned target before starting. Stand tall with the ball in both hands, squat with hips below knees and hit the correct physical target with a two-handed throw. You may put the ball down, but must reset standing before the next squat rather than continue from a bounce.
If your gym lacks the competition load, label the practice accurately. A lighter ball, heavier ball or different target is a different training condition; its result is not automatically a race prediction. Choose manageable practice volume and avoid treating a fixed set-and-rest pattern as universally faster.
