HYROX wall ball target height: 2.70 m or 3.00 m

Height follows the racer, not a Pro upgrade
The difference between the women's and men's targets is 30 cm. Men Open do not use 2.70 m, and Men Pro do not add another 30 cm to the men's Open target.
Doubles also uses 2.70 m for female racers and 3.00 m for male racers. In Mixed Doubles, both partners use the 6 kg ball, but each throws to the target prescribed for them. The shared load does not create one shared target height.
Hit the designated physical target
The ball must strike the correct target in its strike zone. Simply reaching that height somewhere on the wall is insufficient. A higher throw that misses the physical target is not made valid by its height.
The rulebook does not prescribe aiming 10–15 cm above a painted line as a way to guarantee a valid repetition. Read the actual target layout and follow the judge's instructions. A digital counter is an aid, not a replacement for the required movement and target contact.
Set up useful practice
Check the metric height rather than substituting rounded nine- or ten-foot measurements. Those are not exact equivalents of 2.70 m and 3.00 m. Ask your gym which height its target represents before treating a practice set as competition-standard work.
Choose a position that lets you hit the target and receive the ball under control. A single distance from the wall cannot account for every athlete and rig. Check squat depth separately: correct height alone does not make a repetition valid.

Questions
What height do Men Open use?
3.00 m, the same target height as Men Pro.
Does Women Pro use a higher target than Women Open?
No. Both use 2.70 m; the ball weight changes from 4 kg to 6 kg.
Does hitting above the target automatically count?
No. The ball must make proper contact with the designated physical target, and the movement must also be valid.
