Women Open and Women Pro complete the same Singles station distances and 100 wall balls in HYROX 2026/27. Pro increases the external loads. The farmers carry is 200 m in both divisions, and the wall-ball target stays at 2.70 m.

Sled totals include the sled. Carry loads are per kettlebell, with one in each hand. The race also includes eight running segments totalling 8,000 m of designated running, each before its corresponding station.

Open to Pro: the actual changes

The push rises by 50 kg, from 102 to 152 kg; the pull rises by 25 kg, from 78 to 103 kg. Each carry kettlebell rises by 8 kg, from 16 to 24 kg. The sandbag rises from 10 to 20 kg and the wall ball from 4 to 6 kg.

There is no additional 25-wall-ball requirement on moving to Pro: both already require 100. Nor does the carry become longer. The difference is the load, so do not build a progression around obsolete Open distances or rep counts.

Women's Doubles and Mixed are not interchangeable

Doubles Women uses the Women Open loads; Doubles Women Pro uses the Women Pro loads. Mixed Doubles uses 152 kg push, 103 kg pull, two 24 kg kettlebells, a 20 kg sandbag and a 6 kg wall ball for the team. The woman in Mixed still uses the 2.70 m target.

Both partners complete every run together and share station work. The shared total is 200 m carry and 100 wall balls, not those totals for each partner. See Doubles rules.

Prepare according to your starting point

Compare your current controlled practice with the intended division's load. Introduce unfamiliar loads in manageable amounts while maintaining the movement standard. There is no universal six- or eight-week progression that establishes readiness for every athlete.

Record load, distance, valid repetitions and breaks. A shorter technique session can be useful practice without being called a race simulation. Regular Pro entry and Elite selection are different matters; the current Elite pathway is not simply an Open-to-Pro time cutoff. See HYROX® Pro and qualification time.
